THE MADDOW
This cocktail was created by Thad Vogler of San Francisco in honor of Dr. Maddow when she appeared as part of a Mother Jones fundraiser in 2009. The original link below includes video of her appearance in addition to the somewhat (obviously appropriately) San Francisco-specific recipe.
· 2 oz Tanqueray 10 gin
· 1/4 oz Grenadine by Small Hands Foods (San Francisco)
· 1/2 oz Dolin Blanc vermouth
· 2 dashes Orange bitters
Stir well and strain into a 5 oz cocktail glass. Garnish with broad lemon zest.
